The devastating destructions left by hurricane 'Katrina' in the US was the cause for the drastic increase in fuel prices. Oil companies Aral, Esso and Shell have added and extra eight euro cent per litre on Super Premium petrol, which is now at an average of 1,39 euros per litre and the price for diesel increased by three euro cent to around 1,16 euros per litre.
