HAITI ERDBEBEN HILFSGUETER
A picture dated 28 January 2010 shows hundreds of hungry Haitians, who are living at the Campo de Marte since a day after the earthquake and who have practically not received any food since that day, break the security barriers and assault four trucks full of food in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. A year after the Caribbean nation was struck by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake that killed approximately 230,000 people and left around 1.5 million survivors displaced or homeless, it is still unclear how far away Haiti is from total recovery.
