JAPAN TIERE PINGUIN
Ten king penguins are marshalled through their daily 30-minute stroll at Asahiyama Zoo on Tuesday 07 February 2006. Zoo officials enforced the daily constitutional amid fears that the penguins were becoming lazy, overweight and slightly unruly. "In the wild, penguins regulalary go in search of food for their young, but here it is all laid on a plate for them," said one zoo official. "We thought it was important to encourage their natural inclination such excercise, otherwise they would simply become overweight and restless." EPA/ROB GILHOOLY
