epa10119566 Sporting and Rio Ave players and supporters pay homage to Benfica former player Fernando Chalana, who passed away this week, before their First League Soccer match held at Alvalade Stadium, in Lisbon, Portugal, 13 August 2022. Chalana, a 37 times Portuguese international, started his youth football career at Barreirense and then moved to Bordeaux in 1984/85, where he spent three years before returning to the 'Eagles', finishing his career with Belenenses (1990/91) and Estrela da Amadora (1991/92).
