SUEDSUDAN KONFLIKT FLUECHTLINGE
Fatima Ismai, 10, looks through a hole in her classroom with a UNICEF textbook in her hand. Her family fled from Tabarik village in west Darfur where she was studying in grade 2. She has been able to continue in the same grade in this Krindig camp for Internally Displaced People in UNICEF supported school. She lost many of her friends who have fled with their families to other areas, but she feels she is still lucky as she has one of her friends still around. They live close to each other in camp and attend same school. Sudan. Novembet 10, 2004. (KEYSTONE/MAJORITY WORLD/Shehzad Noorani)
