USA FLUGHAFEN SAN FRANCISCO 1964
Five DC-8 jetliners form a symmetrical pattern around the hexagonally-shaped United Airlines terminal at the end of one of the several concourses at the San Francisco International Airport, in this August 5, 1964 photo. United Airlines made the largest bankruptcy filing in aviation history Monday, Dec. 9, 2002, saying it was the only way to keep the world's No. 2 airline flying after two years of heavy losses. The Chapter 11 filing was the fifth-largest ever as measured by assets. (KEYSTONE/AP Photo/United Airlines) === ===
