Die Buesten der Erbauer des Hotels Buergenstock (erbaut 1871-1873) von Franz Josef Bucher-Durrer und Josef Durrer befinden sich im Museumsgang des Hotels Buergenstock, um die Geschichte des Hotels von der Erbauung bis zur letzten Renovierung im Jahr 2017 zu zeigen, fotografiert am Dienstag, 7. Mai 2024 in Obbuergen. Am Wochenende vom 15. und 16. Juni 2024 findet auf dem Buergenstock im Kanton Nidwalden ein Gipfeltreffen zum Frieden in der Ukraine statt.
