The health officials in England detect that 109 cases have been infected with the new COVID-19 variant coronavirus strain VUI-21MAY-02 (C.36.3) which reportedly originates from Thailand. The new mutated strain C.36.3 was first detected in Thailand among people who travelled from Egypt.
