TUERKEI BIO LANDWIRTSCHAFT
The geographical region surrounding the six villages which are in the boundaries of Borcka, Artvin are named as Macahel. Camili Koyu, in which the Georgian border passes through, is the center of the region. The Camili Village is placed on the outskirts of the Karcal Mountains having an altitude of 3500 meters. All the habitants in the village are engaged in organic farming. As a place of having a very rich biologic diversity, Macahel is the first region in Turkey which was included in the UNESCOs Man and Biosphere Reserve Project in 2006.
