Founded in 1870 and relocated to Neuhausen am Rheinfall in 1908, the company "Internationale Verbandstoffabrik Neuhausen" stands for the invention and high-quality production of absorbent cotton wool. --- From the original legend of the report from January 20, 1946 --- " Huge cotton wool mountains have left the factory since 1870 to be laid on bleeding wounds all over the world. How the cotton wool is produced today may be illustrated in our photo report." Januar 1946 --- " Riesige Watteberge haben seit 1870 die Fabril verlassen, um auf blutende Wunden gelegt zu werden in aller Welt. Wie die Watte heute hergestellt wird, mag unser Bildbericht anschaulich zu zeigen. Aus dem Silo abgesaugt, gelangen die Watteflocken in den sogenannten Batteur, eine sechsgliedrige Maschinengruppe, bestehend aus einem Ansaugkasten, Voroeffner, Vertikaloeffner, Ventilator und zwei Cardierfluegeln.
