- A paving stone with a flag of the Canton of Jura was placed on the spot where the legendary Unspunnen stone was on display in a hotel in Interlaken, Switzerland, after the original stone was stolen on Saturday, August 20, 2005. Its is the second time the stone has been stolen. In 1984 the stone was already stolen by separatists of the Canton of Jura for the first time, and it was returned 17 years later in 2001. The Unspunnen stone is named after the most revered stone throwing contest of Switzerland and has been tossed for a century. It is regarded as a cultural heritage of the country.(KEYSTONE/Peter Michel)
