ITALY QUAKE
An exterior view of Santa Brescella church closed Wednesday, Jan.25, 2012, due to an earthquake that has shaken a wide area of northern Italy from Verona to Genoa. No injuries or damage were reported. The National Geophysics Institute in Rome registered the magnitude-5 earthquake on Wednesday and said the epicenter was in Reggio Emilia, some 400 km (250 mile) north of Rome.
