French fashion designer Hubert de Givenchy leaves the Saint-Louis en l'Ile church after attending the funeral mass for French actor Jean-Claude Brialy, Monday, June 4, 2007 in Paris. Brialy, an emblematic figure of the New Wave film movement, died in his Paris home on May 30, 2007 following a long battle with cancer. He was 74. Brialy was a familiar face in films by legendary French directors including Claude Chabrol, Francois Truffaut and Jean-Luc Godard, who spearheaded the avant-garde New Wave movement in the late 1950's.
