epa02102486 Local residents look at the blood stains at the scene where six Afghan soldiers were killed by the German soldiers of NATO's International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Kunduz, northern Afghanistan on 03 April 2010. German soldiers killed five Afghan troops who were riding in two civilian cars that they failed to stop as they approached their allies, the German military said. The incident occurred late Friday near Kunduz, the capital of the northern Afghan province also called Kunduz, said the German army's Operations Command in Potsdam, outside Berlin. The two cars drove toward German soldiers who were on duty and did not stop for checks so an armoured vehicle opened fire on one of the cars, it said. EPA/NAQEEB AHMED
