() Picture dated 23 October 2005 shows Turkish author Orhan Pamuk (C), his daughter Rueya and Dieter Schormann, chair of the German Book Trade, at the award ceremony of the Peace Prize of the German Book Trade in St. Paul's Church in Frankfurt Main, Germany. Pamuk was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature on Thursday, 12 October 2006. The 54-year-old is the first Turkish author to be awarded with the Nobel Prize.
