The former President of the European Central Bank (ECB), Wim Duisenberg is dead. The 70-year-old was found dead in the swiming pool of a villa in South France announced the police on Sunday in Faucon near Avignon, France. Attempts of resuscitation have been unsuccessful. Details about his death are not known yet. The Dutch born on 9 July in Heerenveen conducted the ECB from May 1998 to autumn 2003.
