epa04144595 Belgian Geert Mertens of Team BE Power gets his bicycle from the bike park before competing in the 'Queens Stage'; stage 5 of the annual ABSA Cape Epic mountain bike stage race, Greyton, South Africa, 28 March 2014. Stage 5 was the hardest of the race and was rated at 5 out of 5 in difficulty and included a 5 kilometer climb. The multi day stage race is known as the 'Tour de France' of mountain biking and sees 1200 riders riding 720km in 7 days.
