AEGYPTEN ARCHAEOLOGIE TUTANCHAMUN
This CT scan released 08 March 2005 shows the skeleton of the 3,300-year-old mummy of the ancient Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamun in Luxor, Egypt, 05 January 2005. The Egyptian Antiquities department released the findings of the scan which showed that there is no evidence to the the theory that the 19-year old king was murdered with a blow to the back of the head. The left thigh bone was broken and there is speculation that if the bone was broken prior to the pharaoh's death that it could have contributed to his death. EPA/STR
