IRAN NOBELPREIS SHIRIN EBADI
Iranian Nobel Peace Prize winner Shirin Ebadi addresses the press in Teheran, Tuesday 02 December 2003, about the latest United Nations human rights resolution against Iran. Ebadi said that there are certainly some deficiencies as far as human rights in Iran are concerned and the Islamic administration would do better not to be faced with such resolutions. Ebadi also rejected Iran's reference to human rights violations in other countries as justification of breaches. Teheran has constantly referred to Israeli aggressions in Palestine and double standards by international organizations whenever charged with human rights violations.
