The UN war crimes tribunal in The Hague Saturday 11 March 2006 confirmed the death of former Yugoslav president Slobodan Milosevic. The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia said 64-year-old Milosevic, in the fifth year of his trial on charges of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide, had died in his cell.
