STAVROPOL MOURNS CROCUS CITY HALL ATTACK VICTIMS
RUSSIA, STAVROPOL - MARCH 23, 2024: Banners reading 'We Are Mourning' are seen outside the regional research library in Lenina Square in memory of the victims of the Crocus City Hall terrorist attack. On March 22, 2024, unidentified gunmen opened fire before the start of a concert at the Crocus City Hall in the town of Krasnogorsk near Moscow, and set off explosives that started a massive fire in the building. The Russian Investigative Committee reports over 60 people dead, more than 100 wounded. The Islamic State (banned in Russia) claimed responsibility for the attack.
