USA RAUMFAHRT SPACE SHUTTLE ATLANTIS
The space shuttle Atlantis lifts off early Sept. 8, 2000, from Kennedy Space Center's Launch Pad 39-B in Cape Canaveral, Fla. NASA said Wednesday July 27, 2005 it is grounding future shuttle flights because foam debris that brought down Columbia and flew off Discovery's external fuel tank is still a risk. Atlantis was supposed to lift off in September, but that mission is now on indefinite hold. (KEYSTONE/AP Photo/Chris O'Meara)
