USA RAUMFAHRT SPACE SHUTTLE ATLANTIS
The space shuttle Atlantis is eased out of the Vehicle Assembly Building atop the crawler at Cape Canaveral, Fla. Jan. 3, 2001 for its trip to the pad. NASA said Wednesday July 27, 2005 it is grounding future shuttle flights because foam debris that brought down Columbia and flew off Discovery's external fuel tank is still a risk. Atlantis was supposed to lift off in September, but that mission is now on indefinite hold. (KEYSTONE/AP Photo/Peter Cosgrove)
