FRITZ TEUFEL IN COURT
The defendants Fritz Teufel and Jörg Schlotter (l-r) and lawyer Horst Mahler. The process because of trespass against Teufel and Schlotterer, who had not appeared to an earlier date and and therefore had been arrested, started on 03 October 1968 in Berlin. Teufel stated - ironically - that he regretted his transgressions deeply and wanted to be punished with three to five years of prison. His fellow defendent Schlotterer was a "disgusting anarchist" and his lawyer Mahler should be put into prison. (KEYSTONE/DPA/Joachim Barfknecht)
