FRANKREICH MIGRATION
epa01773784 A pile of shoes are on the pavement as two men try to sleep under a blanket in a settlement of nearly two hundred asylum seekers outside the 'Bourse du Travail' (Labor Council) building that they were evicted from during the night by riot police, in central Paris, France, 25 June 2009. For the past 14 months, they had been occupying the premises which belong to the CGT union, until the trade union finally ordered in riot police to disperse them. With nowhere to go, the asylum seekers have resorted to a makeshift settlement outside the Labour council. EPA/IAN LANGSDON
