RADIOGRAPHER STUDIES CD RECORD OF AN ANGIOGRAM
MODEL RELEASED. Angiography records. Radiographer using a device to study an angiogram of a patient's blood vessels. This facility has patients' angiograms stored on compact discs (CDs), a library of which can be seen behind the radiographer. This system makes it quick and easy to find and study a particular patient's records. In angiography, a substance is injected into blood vessels (dark blue) to make them visible on an X-ray. Angiograms are used to study disorders of the blood vessels, especially around the heart, such as stenosis (narrowing) and aneurysms (ballooning walls). Photographed at the Freeman Hospital, England.
