SCHWEIZ NATIONALPARK
The summer has dried out this riverbed in Switzerland's only national park between the Grimmels alp and Il Fuorn in the canton of Grisons' Engadin valley, Switzerland, pictured on August 7, 2008. The Swiss National Park was founded in 1914 and encompasses 170 square kilometers. In 1979 UNESCO designated the park as a biosphere reserve.
