BRAZIL ECONOMY
Domingus Felicio works at the Tergal auto parts factory in Sao Paulo, Brazil Tuesday, Jan. 6, 1998. Felicio has worked at the factory, whose owners recently declared bankrupty for the last 10 years. The 110 workers of the factory have taken over the installation and resumed production, saying the banckruptcy claims are false. A recent survey shows that 87% of top Brazilian businessmen believe layoffs and unemployement will increase the first semester of 1998 due to the ecomomic uncertainty.(AP Photo/Dario Lopez-Mills)
