Construction site of the new Emscher river mouth in front of the decommissioned STEAG coal-fired power plant Voerde. The mouth of the Emscher into the Rhine will be relocated from Dinslaken by almost 500 meters north to Voerde. Fish will then be able to swim barrier-free up the new Emscher from the Rhine through a newly created floodplain.
