Following the death of George Floyd while in Minneapolis police custody protests of outrage have resulted in the removal of Confederate memorials in many parts of the country. Virginia Governor Ralph Northam's order for the removal of the statue of Confederate general Robert E. Lee is under an indefinite injuction due to a jugde's order.
