(FILES) In this file photo taken on November 19, 2019 Britain's Prime Minister and leader of the Conservative Party, Boris Johnson wears boxing gloves emblazoned with "Get Brexit Done" as he poses for a photograph at Jimmy Egan's Boxing Academy in Manchester north-west England on November 19, 2019, during a general election campaign trip. - The former London mayor was a figurehead in the official Leave campaign, urging Britain to "take back control" from Brussels, where he was once an EU-bashing political correspondent. Boris Johnson was then made foreign secretary by Theresa May, but his two-year stint ended when he resigned over her Brexit strategy. Johnson retained a high profile, using his weekly column in The Daily Telegraph to attack her approach, and was well-placed to take advantage when May eventually stood down. Scoring a thumping majority in 2019's general election he went on to secure a post-Brexit trade deal with the EU but his promises of a trans-Atlantic pact by the end of the year fell by the wayside.
