RUAMENIEN NATIONALMUSEUM AUSSTELLUNG
Three Romanian men watch a television recorded speech of Romania's late communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu, at the National History Museum of Romania in Bucharest, Friday 26 January 2007. An exhibition called 'Propaganda in Ceausescu's Era' opened on Friday the day which would have been the late leader's 89th birthday. On the table near the TV set could be seen a gas lamp. In the latest days of Ceausescu's regime, Romanians could watch only one official TV programme, for about two hours per working day, and electricity was randomly shutted down several times daily.
