Thai authorities seized 87 elephant tusks weighing 315.2 kilograms with a value of 28 million baht (about 767,000 euro) at the Suvarnabhumi International Airport on a flight coming from Mozambique via Kenya, Thai Customs said. A Kenyan national believed to be the recipient of the cargo fled back to Kenya soon after the discovery was made by officers according to the Royal Thai Customs.
