NANOTECHNOLOGY MACHINES
Nanotechnology machines, computer artwork. Future uses of nanotechnology (machines the size of cells and molecules) could range from using nanomachines to repair the body and target diseases, to the use of swarms of nanomachines to simulate different materials. Different shapes and types of machines will be needed for different applications, though some may be disguised (like the one at lower right as a pollen grain) to allow covert surveillance. The bubbles could represent ways to build such nanomachines on the molecular scale. The machines would self-assembly due to the physical properties found at fluid interfaces like in bubbles.
