CHINA HONGKONG STADT
Aerial view of reclaimed land on the Kowloon peninsula in Hong Kong, Saturday 29 November 2003. Much of Hong Kong is now built on reclaimed land and despite a 70% decrease in property prices since 1997 it remains one of the most expensive cities in the world. Hong Kong is now working on a number of ambitious projects including bridges up to 30km long to revitalise its economy after 6 years of lacklustre performance. Economists have revised growth rates upwards repeatedly this year and now estimate a 4.5% year on year increase in GDP. (KEYSTONE/EPA/ADRIAN BRADSHAW)
