A 14 June 2001 file photo of Italian movie director Mario Monicelli, who committed suicide in a Rome's hospital late 29 November 2010. Mario Monicelli, born in Viareggio, Tuscany, on May 15, 1915, was an Italian director and screenwriter, one of the masters of the Commedia all'Italiana (Comedy Italian style).
