SCHWEIZ UNWETTER WALLIS GONDO
The destroyed Stockalper tower which dates from 1670, lays damaged after heavy rain flooded the Swiss village of Gondo, Saturday, October 14, 2000. At least three people died in the village of Gondo on the Swiss-Italian border. About 15 people were reported missing as the flood swept away part of the village and left the rest underwater.
