PATENT FOR TESLA'S TRANSMITTER
Tesla's "Apparatus for Transmitting Electrical Energy" (shown here) was patented in 1914. Nikola Tesla (1856-1943), a Serb-American physicist, mechanical engineer and electrical engineer whose patents and theoretical work formed the basis of modern alternating current electric power (AC) systems.
