SCHOTTLAND KLONEN "DOLLY" WILMUT
Professor Ian Wilmut, the creator of Dolly the Sheep, says goodbye to her, April 9, 2003. Dolly, who has become an icon of scientific and technological breakthrough after being cloned in 1997, goes on display at the Royal Museum in Edinburgh. Following her death in February 2003, Dolly was donated to the National Museums of Scotland (NMS) by the Roslin Institute so that she could be preserved for future generations.
