UGANDA DIKTATUR EXEKUTION
Idi Amin rose to prominence as the despotic president of Uganda where he was in power from 1971 until 1979. During Amin's presidency Uganda was plunged into economic ruin and diplomatic crisis. Under his terrifying reign it is estimated that 300,000 Ugandan's were tortured and killed. He was deposed in 1979 when Tanzania invaded Uganda and has been living in exile in Libya and then Saudi Arabia ever since. Uganda's military police are pictured tying a citizen to a post so they can execute him. Executions often occured without trial. (KEYSTONE/CAMERA PRESS/AN/DES) === , ===
