In das Gemeinschaftsunternehmen N3 Engine Overhaul Services von Lufthansa Technik und Rolls-Royce wurden rund 100 Millionen Euro investiert. In dem Werk werden Rolls-Royce-Grosstriebwerke gewartet, die in Airbus-Langstreckenflugzeugen der Typen A330, A340 und A380 eingesetzt werden. Lufthansa Technik AG and Rolls-Royce plc have invested about Euro100 million in N3s site at the 'Erfurter Kreuz' industrial estate and the result is one of the most advanced maintenance facilities in the world for large civil aircraft engines.
