PHILIPPINES MARCOS BURIAL PROTEST
epa05646981 Filipino protestors hold placards denouncing the burial of former dictator Ferdinand Marcos during a protest rally in Manila, Philippines, 25 November 2016. Philippine citizens staged protests in over 30 cities across the country opposing the recent burial of Marcos, who ruled the Philippines for over two decades beginning in 1965, before a popular bloodless revolt deposed him in 1986. Marcos was buried at the hallowed Heroes' Cemetery on 18 November in a private ceremony, an event that was not announced publicly until an hour before. EPA/FRANCIS R. MALASIG
