epa04381702 A photo dated 17 May 2014 Russian photographer Andrei Stenin (R) working in Slaviansk, Ukraine. Others are not identified. Stenin disappeared in the Donetsk region 05 August 2014 and it was hoped that he had been detained by Ukrainian armed forces. It was reported 03 September 2014 that forensic examination of remains found in a burnt car confirmed that Andrei Stenin was on a road between Dmitrovka and Snizhnoye while being in a convoy with nine other cars full of refugees on their way to the Russia-Ukraine border. Stenin, who worked for the Rossia Segodnya state news holding, was killed when Ukrainian government forces attacked a convoy carrying refugees and separatists in which he was travelling on 06 August, an Investigative Committee said. It explained that Stenin's remains were only identified now after separatists handed them over on 27 August 2014. EPA/MAXIM SHIPENKOV
