Waehrend die Besucher auf die Eroeffnung warten, faehrt ein Gueterzug auf der Bergstrecke Richtung Loetschbergtunnel nach Kandersteg, bei der Eroeffnung des Neat Loetschberg Basistunnel beim Tunnel Nordportal, am Freitag 15. Juni 2007 in Frutigen. Nach achtjaehriger Bauzeit wird der Tunnel offiziell dem Bahnverkehr uebergeben.
