Swiss federal councillor Christoph Blocher greets the public, as guest of honour at the guildsmen parade through the streets of Zurich, Switzerland, Monday, April 18, 2005, on the occasion of the so called "Sechselaeuten" procession. Zurich's centuries-old spring festival of the guilds stems from the tradition of driving out evil winter spirits and welcoming the longer, milder days of spring. On Sechselaeuten-Monday, colourfully costumed guildsmen parade through Zurich to the Sechselaeuten green for the burning of the "Boeoegg", a straw effigy atop a 13-metre high bonfire, representing the "Old Man of Winter".Bundesrat Christoph Blocher beim traditionellen Umzug der Zuenfte am Zuercher Sechselaeuten am Montag ,18.
