MAZEDONIEN JUGOSLAWIEN KONFLIKT KOSOVO 1999
Two ethnic Albanian refugee women arrive by foot in Macedonia, April 1, 1999 after being forced at the Kosovar village of Djeneral Jankovic, a couple of kilometers from the border with Macedonia, to leave a train coming from Pristina in Kosovo. A total of 25,000 ethnic Albanians have been forcibly taken from Kosovo to neighbouring Macedonia in special trains over the last two days, said a UN spokesman today.
