On the bride's left is her father King George VI and on the bridegroom's right his groomsman, the Bargois of Milford Haven. In front of the bridal couple is Dr. Geoffrey Francis Fisher, Archbishop of Canterbury, who solemnised the marriage. In front of first row of chairs (nearest bridal couple) from back to front are: Queen Elizabeth - the bride's mother, Queen Mary, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester. At top left of picture is the Earl of Mountbatten.
