FILE--Author Stephen King's poses in New York Nov. 17, 1993. In his latest book, "Hearts in Atlantis," the author includes lyrics from the 1957 song "Black Slacks" by Joe Bennett and the Sparkletones. Bennett, a devout member of the Mormon Church, objects to what he says is King's explicit and offensive language in the book. Bennet said, "I don't want to seem pious, but this is absolutely not endorsed by me. King received permission to use the lyrics from MCA, owner of the rights to the song.(AP Photo/Ron Frehm, File)
