The fire that first broke out on 17 July in Kallithea, Loutraki, and then spread to other areas is contained and under control. More than 1500 hectares have been burnt, half of which are arable land and the other half forest land. Based on initial estimates, the burnt houses appear to exceed 40, while there are also several other houses that have suffered minor damage according to the deputy local governor of Corinth, Haris Vytiniotis.
