WELTRAUM RAUMFAHRT SPACE SHUTTLE ENDEAVOUR
The Space Shuttle Endeavor, as viewed from the International Space Station (ISS). In the shuttle's open cargo bay are parts for the ISS. The main purpose of this mission (STS-97, 11/20-12/11/2000), wa to attach and unfold the ISS's 73-meter solar arrays. The ISS is a joint effort between NASA, the European Space Agency, the Russian space agency, Canada, Japan, and Brazil. Photographed on Dec. 2nd, 2000, by a member of the first ISS crew.
